I’m Dr. Melinda Zay, an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC), ADHD coach, and certified listening therapy provider. My work integrates coaching with nervous system–informed approaches inspired by polyvagal theory, using listening therapy as a supportive complement to coaching.
With 10,000+ hours of coaching experience, I support adults and parents navigating ADHD by helping them develop practical strategies for focus, emotional regulation, and everyday functioning.
My approach is also shaped by lived ADHD experience—both personally and as a parent—which allows me to bring both professional expertise and deep understanding to the work.
ADHD coaching is a practical, goal-focused process that helps you develop strategies for focus, organization, emotional regulation, and follow-through. The focus is on building systems and habits that support your daily life, work, and relationships.
No. Some clients have a formal diagnosis, while others simply recognize patterns such as difficulty focusing, starting tasks, managing time, or regulating stress. Coaching can support both diagnosed and self-identified ADHD challenges.
My approach combines ADHD coaching with nervous system–informed methods, including listening therapy programs such as the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) or Integrated Listening System (iLs). These approaches can support regulation, focus, and emotional resilience.
Sessions focus on understanding current challenges, identifying patterns that affect focus or regulation, and developing practical strategies you can apply in daily life. We regularly review progress and adjust the plan as needed.
The first step is a free information and chemistry call. This short conversation allows us to discuss your goals, answer questions, and see whether working together would be a good fit.
If you’d like to learn more about the programs or explore whether this approach could support your goals, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to answer questions or help you decide whether it might be a good fit.
